11/07/2000Order/ProceduralFiled Order. We note that this is not a fast track appeal. Therefore, court reporters Walker and Ferguson incorrectly filed rough draft transcripts on December 2, 1999, December 20, 1999, and December 30, 1999. Instead, certified copies of the requested transcripts should have been filed. The parties have not objected to the filing of the rough draft transcripts. We deem the requirements of NRAP 9(b) to have been met in this appeal by the filing of rough draft transcripts. To date, transcripts have been requested, but have not been filed, for proceedings held on July 1, 1999, July 26, 1999, and December 1, 1998. Court reporter Walker shall have 15 days from the date of this order to prepare and file certified copies of transcripts for these dates, to file a motion requesting an extension of time to do so or to inform this court in writing why the requested transcripts cannot be produced. 00-19578

01/16/2001Order/ProceduralFiled Order Granting Motion. The clerk of this court shall forthwith file the 67 page answering brief and 'supplemental appendix' submitted provisionally with this court on November 21, 2000. On November 7, 2000, this court entered an order that directed court reporter Randi Lee Walker to prepare and file transcripts for proceedings conducted on December 1, 1998. On November 16, 2000, and November 28, 2000, this court received letters from court reporter Walker stating that she was not responsible for the transcripts for December 1, 1998. We note that the 'supplemental appendix' properly includes transcripts for the proceedings conducted on December 1, 1998. Accordingly, we deem all necessary transcripts to be filed with this court and vacate that portion of our November 7, 2000, order directing court reporter Walker to prepare and file transcripts for proceedings. 01-00822
