In each of these appeals, this court sanctioned attorney Jeffrey D. Morrison for failure to comply with this court's orders and rules of appellate procedure. Despite the fact that the sanctions are long overdue, Morrison has failed to pay the sanctions, and he has not otherwise communicated with this court regarding the sanctions. Docket No. 33488: To date, the sanctions imposed in this appeal, in the total amount of $1,850.00, remain overdue and unpaid. Docket No. 34537: To date the sanction of $100 remains unpaid and overdue. Docket No. 37627: To date, the sanction of $500 remains unpaid and overdue, and Morrison has not otherwise responded to this court's order to show cause. Morrison's conduct in these matters is unacceptable. He shall have 30 days from the date of this order within which to provide the clerk of this court with proof of payment to the Supreme Court Law Library of the overdue sanctions, in the total amount of $2,450.00, plus an additional sanction payable to the Supreme Court Law Library of $1,000.00, or personally appear before this court and show cause why he should not be held in contempt of this court, and subjected to an appropriate punishment including, but not limited to, the possibility of confinement, immediate suspension from the practice of law, and an order of this court prohibiting Morrison from accepting clients charged with criminal offenses and the appointment by the court as counsel for indigent criminal defendants and also prohibiting him from appearing as counsel of record in this court.
