On July 1, 2002, appellant filed an untimely response to respondent's motion. fn1[Although the response was not accompanied by a motion for an extension of time, we direct the clerk to file the response received on July 1, 2002.] Although we decline to dismiss this appeal at this time, we conclude that the imposition of sanctions is warranted for appellant's failure to timely file the appendix. We grant respondent's motion to the extent that it requests the imposition of sanctions. Mr. Evenson shall personally pay the sum of $250.00 to the Supreme Court Law Library and file proof of such payment with the clerk of this court within 15 days from the date of this order.
