We disapprove the stipulation. Appellant shall, within 20 days from the date of this order, serve and file the opening brief and appendix. On December 8 and 10, 1998, court reporter Lola Sharp filed transcripts in this court. Appellant never filed in this court a request for the preparation of transcripts pursuant to NRAP 9(a). We admonish appellant's counsel for his failure to comply with NRAP 9(a). Because this court has filed the transcripts, we waive the requirement that appellant file a transcript request form.
