We note that the motion was served on appellant by mail on June 3, 2004. Cause appearing, we grant the motion to withdraw. The clerk of this court shall remove Mr. Myers as counsel for appellant in this appeal. On September 7, 2004, appellant submitted a letter requesting 'an extension of all previous and upcoming deadlines in this appeal.' Because appellant is not required to request transcripts or file any other document, we deny the request for an extension of time. See NRAP 46(b). Appellant also requests additional time to retain an attorney. Cause appearing, we grant appellant's request. Appellant shall have 60 days from the date of this order to retain new counsel and cause counsel to file a notice of appearance with this court. Alternatively, within the same time period, if appellant does not intend to retain new counsel, appellant shall so inform this court in writing. Failure to retain new counsel may result in this appeal proceeding as a proper person appeal. See NRAP 46(b). 04-19307
