Respondents also note that appellants failed to file and serve an appendix along with the opening brief. Appellants oppose respondents' motion. After the motion and opposition were filed, appellants filed an appendix to their opening brief. In addition, the district court has filed the record on appeal, which contains the final statement of the evidence settled by the district court pursuant to NRAP 9(d). Appellants shall have 20 days from the date of this order to file an opening brief that fully complies with the NRAP. Every assertion in the opening brief regarding matters in the record shall be supported by a reference to the page of appellants' previously filed appendix or the page of the record on appeal where the matter relied on is to be found. When appropriate, appellants shall cite to the NRAP 9(d) statement settled upon by the district court. Because appellants will be filing a new opening brief, respondents' request for an extension of time to file the answering brief is denied as moot.
