02/22/2002Order/ProceduralFiled Order Denying Motion. On January 14, 2002, Transcript/Video Services filed a motion for an extension of time to prepare the transcript held on October 11, 2001. On February 13, 2002, Court Reporters Michele Phelps and Arlene Blazi filed transcripts for proceedings held on September 10, 2001, and September 13, 2001, respectively. A review of the district court minutes reveals that there were no proceedings held on October 11, 2001. Because of this, unless appellant informs this court otherwise within 10 days from the date of this order, we conclude that all necessary transcripts have been filed. We deny as moot, Transcript/Video Services' motion for an extension of time to file transcripts. Currently, the opening brief and appendix are due to be filed by February 25, 2002. NRAP 31(a)(2). In light of any possible delay that may have been caused by the confusion about the transcripts requested in this case, appellant shall file and serve the opening brief and appendix within 20 days from the date of this order. Thereafter, briefing shall proceed in accordance with NRAP 31(a)(2). 02-03376
