03/01/2002Order/ProceduralFiled Order. On December 17, 2001, attorney John Peter Lee filed a motion to withdraw as counsel of record for appellant. The motion was served on appellant and counsel for respondents and, to date, has not been opposed. Cause appearing, we grant the unopposed motion. Appellant shall have 60 days from the date of this order to obtain new counsel to represent her in this appeal and to cause counsel to file a notice of appearance with the clerk of this court. Alternatively, if appellant does not intend to obtain new counsel, she shall so inform this court within the same time period. New counsel, if obtained, will be expected to participate in the settlement conference program to which this appeal is assigned. Because we grant Mr. Lee's motion to withdraw, we suspend the requirement for filing a docketing statement. New counsel, if obtained, shall file a docketing statement within 15 days from filing a notice of appearance with this court. On December 17, 2001, respondents filed a motion to dismiss this appeal. On December 24, 2001, attorney Lee filed a motion on behalf of appellant requesting an extension of time to file a response to respondents' motion to dismiss. Cause appearing, we grant the motion. New counsel shall have 15 days from filing a notice of appearance with this court to file a response to the motion to dismiss, if deemed appropriate. 02-03776
