05/09/2007ORDER - It is ORDERED sua sponte that the parties are directed to participate in mediation of this matter before the Honorable Warren R. King, Senior Judge of the D.C. Court of Appeals at a time and date to be determined by him after consultation with counsel. Should the parties desire to engage a private mediator for this purpose they should so advise the clerk of this court in writing by 5:00 p.m. on May 16, 2007. It is FURTHER ORDERED that counsel are required to have his/her party physically present at the mediation session. In the event that the client is a corporation, counsel must secure the presence of a representative that has full settlement authority. Additionally, if a non-party is necessary for resolution of the matter, e.g. insurance company, counsel must secure either the physical presence or availability by telephone of a representative that has full settlement authority.
